RAISED PLASTER ENGLISH VICTORIAN WALL STENCIL SET This very detailed design is a single overlay which is super easy to use! Try using it on the ceiling with the corner designs branching out to repeated borders around the ceiling, creating a very dramatic look to any room. This design is very delicate and feminine so give the ceiling in your bedroom something to be "stared" at as you wake each morning! Just as stunning on the walls! Try scrubbing over it with diluted acrylics to match your room then wipe all the excess of the design itself and watch the shadow effect you get. It's incredible! Corner is 9x5" and the border is 16 1/2 x 1 1/2".I used a portion of the design on this vase and used it to turn an ugly brown chest in to a treasured keepsake! Remember that Raised Plaster is awesome on furniture and cabinets! Does your kitchen need a make-over? Raised designs are EASY with our beautiful stencils! Use common joint compound (also called Wall Mud). It comes pre-mixed for you in a bucket and is available in the paint section of most home and hardware stores and acts just like frosting. Just get some on a small trowel or putty knife and spread evenly over the top of the stencil, lift the stencil and there's the design! It's a cinch and a total ball! Now just let it dry.Either paint the color of your wall as a simple raised design or paint with craft or stencil paints. Joint compound can be pre-tinted if you choose or Color washes can also be done with wall glaze.
